A variety of fruits are abundant across the Gallatin Valley in late summer and early fall. Making jams and jellies enables enjoyment of fruit months after harvest time. In this 90-minute workshop, you'll receive research-based information for safely preserving fruits as jams and jellies using water bath canning. You'll get direct experience through making plum jam and chokecherry jelly from locally grown fruit.

Duration: Approx 1-1.5 hours

Skill Level: All levels welcome (beginner-friendly)

Age: 10+ (under 16 must be accompanied by an adult)

Cost: $10 per person for all sessions.

Minimum of 4 participants, maximum of 12.
